    pounds ground beef

  • 2

    cups fresh bread crumbs

  • 1

    egg, beaten

  • 1/2

    cup Pace® Picante Sauce

How to Make It

Thoroughly mix 1/4 cup gravy, beef, bread crumbs, egg and 1/4 cup picante sauce in a large bowl. Place the beef mixture into a 3-quart shallow baking pan and shape firmly into an 8 x 4-inch loaf. Bake at 350°F. for 1 hour 15 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through. Heat 2 tablespoons drippings, remaining gravy and remaining picante sauce in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat to a boil. Serve the sauce with the meatloaf and potatoes.

    makes no sense

    you require potatoes but none are needed in the recipe... are these for the side dish or left out from the instructions?

    Thanks for inquiring! Please note that, as it reads in step 3, the 6 cups of hot cooked mashed potatoes are to be served as a side to the meatloaf and dressed with the gravy.

    My granddaughter made it for us its just that easy and very tastey

    I would recomend this to anyone it is so simple and easy and looks like you took some time to make it.

    Southwestern Meatloaf

    My family and I absolutely love this recipe! We were getting tired of the same meat loaf every time so I tried this and everyone LOVED it, even my 2 year old! I used dried bread crumbs instead of fresh and it was still great!
