    pounds bone-in chicken breast half, skin removed (4 breast halves)

  • 1

    can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Healthy Request® Condensed Healthy Request® Tomato Soup

  • 2

    tablespoons packed brown sugar

  • 3

    tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1

    tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4

    teaspoon garlic powder

  • 2

    teaspoons Louisiana style hot pepper sauce(optional)

  • 4

    cups hot cooked white rice, cooked without salt

How to Make It

Step 1

Place the chicken in a 2-quart shallow baking dish and bake at 375°F. for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Stir the soup, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, garlic powder and hot sauce, if desired, in a small bowl. Spoon the soup mixture over the chicken and bake for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken from the dish and stir the sauce. Serve the chicken and sauce with the rice.

    Spicy Barbecued Chicken

    It was very simple and as a busy mom it was a quick meal that the entire family loved. And for those that see spicy and think oh no, it really wasn't that bad at all, or so my critics (hubby and kid) tell me!!

    Spicy Barbecued Chicken

    It wasn't bad but it wasn't good enough to make again. Honestly, I always have bbq sauce on hand and will just pour it to it myself vs mixing ingredients that weren't as flavorful as I had hoped. I followed the recipe exactly.
