cups Campbell’s® Tomato Juice
tablespoon vegetable oil
pounds pork chop, 3/4-inch thick (6 pork chops)
tablespoon packed brown sugar
tablespoon soy sauce
teaspoon ground ginger
teaspoon garlic powder
small onion, sliced (about 1/4 cup)
cups medium egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
Stir the cornstarch and 1/2 cup tomato juice in a small bowl with a fork until the mixture is smooth and set it aside.
Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add chops and cook for 10 minutes or until they're well browned on both sides. Set the chops aside. Pour off any fat.
Stir the remaining tomato juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder and onion in the skillet and heat to a boil. Return the chops to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chops are cooked through. Remove the chops from the skillet and keep warm.
Stir the cornstarch mixture and add it to the skillet. Cook until the mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Serve the sauce with the chops and noodles.
