    can Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or Campbell's® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup

  • 1/2

    cup milk

  • 2

    tablespoons chopped pimiento (optional)

    cup frozen green peas

  • 2

    cans (about 5 ounces each) tuna in water, drained

  • 4

    ounces (about 2 cups) medium egg noodles, cooked and drained

  • 2

    tablespoons plain dry bread crumbs

  • 1

    tablespoon butter, melted

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat the oven to 400°F.  Stir the soup, milk, pimientos, if desired, peas, tuna and noodles in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.  Stir the bread crumbs and butter in a small bowl.

Step 2

Bake the tuna mixture for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbling.  Stir the tuna mixture.  Sprinkle with the bread crumb mixture.

Step 3

Bake for 5 minutes or until the bread crumb mixture is golden brown.

Recipe Tips

  • For a crunchy, flavorful onion topping, substitute 1 can (2.8 ounces) French's® French Fried Onions (about 1 1/3 cups), crushed, for the bread crumb and butter mixture.
  • For Chicken Noodle Casserole, substitute 2 cups cubed cooked chicken for the tuna.
  • For Sriracha Tuna Noodle Casserole, stir 1 tablespoon sriracha into the tuna mixture before baking.  Substitute 1 cup coarsely crushed potato chips for the bread crumb and butter mixture.

    Tuna Casserole

    I added mushrooms, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cheddar is excellent to add as well. If you get Campbell Garlic mushroom soup, it adds a great taste to it.

    My go to bones

    I come to this recipe everytime I need to make sure I have my times and such correct. I make a few modifications to this recipe- I add shredded cheese, a tablespoon of thousand island dressing, and I top it with French onions (sometimes a little cheese as well)

    Quick, easy & yummy!

    I grew up on tuna casserole--always loved it as a kid. Made it for my husband a time or 2 & he hates it =( I use the roasted garlic mushroom soup instead of the plain cream of mushroom, I also add a can of mushrooms. I also add salt, pepper & garlic powder as well for flavor. Instead of the bread crumb mixture on top, I crush up plain potato chips & cover the top of it before baking. Add extra potato chips & Parmesan cheese before eating. Yummy!

    Easy to make and tasty to eat

    I love making this for my family. The recipe is easy and does not require a lot of ingredients. Instead of using bread crumbs, I sprinkle shredded cheese on top when I put it in the oven. Makes it even better for cheese lovers.
