Great recipe, Family loves it with some subtle changes!

This is a family favorite! My kids love it and my husband cannot resist two helpings! I cut back on the oregano slightly and add a handful of parmesean cheese to the meatballs. We prefer 99% lean ground turkey in this recipe also! I use a mushroom alfredo sauce thinned with chicken broth instead of a tomato based sauce. Delicious!

This recipe is great for turkey

I have been trying to fine a good turkey meatball recipe. With many different recipes tried and being disappointed I was glad to come across this one. It was so good. I did brown the meatballs in bacon grease then combined with sauce. Everyone loved them.

    Turkey & Rice Meatballs

I grew up on a recipe similar to this one. We always used Tomato soup with a dash of worchestershire sauce instead of prego, but this one is good too!

    Turkey & Rice Meatballs

This was not a good recipe. Nowhere does it mention as to whether the rice is to cool and for how long or to use rice that was prepared way ahead of time. Good idea but poor results. The only god thing about the recipe was the cost.
