You will not find an easier Bolognese recipe.  Creamy Three-Cheese Baked, No Boil Ziti Bolognese brings to the table a saucy, meaty, cheesy baked ziti with just 5 minutes of hands-on time.  This miracle is made possible with a perfectly meaty Bolognese sauce that you just stir in the baking dish with ricotta and Parmesan cheese and the uncooked ziti (the ziti cooks as it bakes!). Six ingredients and I repeat, 5 minutes of prep to get this ziti into the oven.  This Creamy Three-Cheese Baked, No Boil Ziti Bolognese recipe takes a dish you can only make on weekends or for special occasions and turns it into a comfort food classic you can make anytime!

Ingredients

  • 2 jars (23.5 ounces each) Prego® Bolognese Meat Sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound uncooked tube-shaped pasta (ziti)

    • If desired, serve topped with dollops of additional ricotta cheese and some fresh basil.
  • Step 1

    Heat the oven to 425°F. While the oven is heating, place a 13x9x2-inch baking dish onto a rimmed baking sheet. 

  • Step 2

    Stir the sauce, water, half the mozzarella cheese, the ricotta and half the Parmesan cheese in the baking dish.  Stir in the uncooked ziti, making sure it's submerged in the sauce mixture (the dish will be very full, so you'll need to stir carefully). Cover tightly with aluminum foil.  

  • Step 3

    Bake for 50 minutes or until the ziti is tender. Uncover and stir the ziti mixture. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

  • Step 4

    Bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until the cheeses are melted.
