Step 1
Cook the orzo according to package directions. Drain the pasta, reserving the pasta water.

Meanwhile, heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes or until the shrimp are done. Remove the shrimp from the skillet, cover and keep warm.
Step 3
Add the sauce to pasta pot and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Stir in the cooked orzo and the spinach and cook for 3 minutes or until the spinach is wilted. If desired, stir in about 1/3 cup of the reserved pasta water or to desired consistency.
Step 4
Stir in half of the shrimp and top with remaining shrimp. Garnish with basil, if desired and serve with shaved Parmesan cheese.
