There are few things as crowd-pleasing as a cheesy, creamy bowl of queso—especially one that’s seasoned to spicy, smoky, Tex-Mex perfection with a delicious blend of Pace® Picante Sauce, Classic Signature Taco Sauce, and Queso Blanco. Black beans add a hearty texture, while crumbled cotija cheese provides the perfect final layer of cheesy goodness. The only downside to this dip is how fast it’ll disappear once you set it down.
Step 1
Add Pace® Medium Picante Sauce, Pace® Classic Taco Signature Sauce, and green onions to a 10-inch cast iron skillet. Heat over medium and cook, stirring often, until mixture becomes a deep red paste, about 6 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from heat and stir in black beans and Pace® Queso Blanco until well combined. Cook over medium-low, stirring constantly, until just warmed through and a couple of bubbles appear, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 3
Gradually whisk in shredded cheese, 1/2 cup at a time, until fully melted and creamy. Top with cotija cheese and garnish with scallions. Serve with tortilla chips.
