Just saute some pancetta with crushed red pepper for heat, then add the potato gnocchi and a creamy tomato basil sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake until perfectly melted. Step 1
Cook and drain the gnocchi according to the package directions. While the gnocchi are cooking, heat the oven to 400°F.

Heat the oil in a 12-inch ovenproof skillet over medium-low heat. Add the pancetta and red pepper, if desired, and cook for 3 minutes. Add the cooked gnocchi and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the sauce and heat to a boil. Remove the skillet from the heat. Top with the cheese.

Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle with the basil before serving, if desired.
