  • 1 (12-inch) fully baked pizza crust
  • 1 cup Prego® Margherita Sauce
  • 6 ounces part skim mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 8 fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Heat the oven to 450°F.  Bake the pizza crust, directly on the oven rack, for 5 minutes.  Remove the crust from the oven and place on a baking sheet.

  • Step 2

    Spread sauce on the hot crust. Top with sliced cheese and cracked pepper.

  • Step 3

    Bake pizza for 10 to 12 minutes or until the crust is crisp and the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and top with basil leaves.  Let stand 3 to 4 minutes before slicing and serving.
