This is an easy, satisfying nacho recipe that delivers big flavor with minimal prep. Tortilla chips are layered with a savory mixture of seasoned ground beef and Pace® Picante Sauce, then topped with our creamy Nacho Cheese Sauce, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños. These hearty nachos come together quickly and work just as well for a casual appetizer as they do for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) Pace® Mild Nacho Cheese Sauce or Nacho Cheese Sauce, Medium
  • 1/2 cup Pace® Picante Sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 bag (10-12 ounces) tortilla chips
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped (about 1 cup), and/or sliced jalapeño, sliced green onion, chopped cilantro, sour cream and additional picante sauce (optional toppings)

  • Tips

    • Tip: You can also substitute 1 can Campbell's® Condensed Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup for the cheddar cheese soup and salsa in this recipe.
  • Step 1

    Stir the nacho cheese sauce and picante sauce in a 2-quart saucepan.

  • Step 2

    Season the beef with salt and pepper. Cook the beef and onion in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned, stirring often to separate meat.  Pour off any fat.

  • Step 3

    Heat the nacho cheese mixture over medium heat until hot and bubbling.

  • Step 4

    Place the chips onto a serving platter and top with the beef mixture. Spoon the nacho cheese mixture over the beef mixture. Top with the tomato and additional toppings as desired.
