Baked Picante Chicken is an easy to make dinner that’s full of zesty flavor. Chicken breasts are baked in Pace® Picante Sauce to stay tender and flavorful, then topped with crunchy tortilla chips and Cheddar cheese. With just a few ingredients and minimal prep, this simple recipe makes weeknight dinner effortless.
Step 1
Place the chicken into a 3-quart shallow baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, cumin and chili powder. Pour the picante sauce over the chicken.
Step 2
Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (reaching an internal temperature of 165°F).
Step 3
Stir the sauce in the dish and spoon over the chicken. Sprinkle the chicken with the tortilla chips and cheese. Bake until the cheese is melted.
