Easy but bland
This recipe was very easy to make and quick. But I found it to be somewhat bland. I was expecting more kick.
Will try again
This looked great to me, so I made it, but only one serving, for my husband. He was not crazy about it, but I think it's because he isn't into "spicy" and I used medium salsa. Will try again with mild or maybe mango salsa. And next time I'll make two servings so I can try it also.
So quick and amazingly awesome!
I think the sauce gave it enough flavor for me and my husband. He wanted a little more crushed tortilla chips so he did that on his own. We both didn't want the dish to end!! The longest part was waiting for the oven to preheat- this was so easy.
Baked Picante Chicken
After reading other reviews, I decided to season my chicken prior to baking. I used paprika, seasoned pepper and a dash of salt and it was great! My husband liked it and it was easy to prepare on a time crunch. I also think serving mexican rice and beans makes it a meal complete
Too hot! Didn't like picante sauce flavor or chunks in it.
