I just made this recipe tonight it was a true winner: Everyone loved it! so easy to do, with lots of area to make it your own. I would definitely recommend the crispy tortilla chips (or taco shells) rather than the soft ones: the crunchy ones give it a better texture. I used canned enchilada sauce rather than the soup as that was what I had on hand and it gave it a very delicious, authentic flavor. Husband went for seconds right away! that is a true recommendation!!

This was very good and very flavorful. My family is very picky and won't eat picante or salsa with chunks so I used taco sauce (and did not tell them there was tomatoe soup in it). I also seasoned it with chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder (just a little) and pepper. I had sour cream with mine. I used flour tortillas in the mix and then we crunched tortilla chips on top after it was done. Everyone liked it which is rare at my house!
