cost per recipe: $7.04
Step 1
Cook the beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it's well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
Step 2
Stir the picante sauce, yellow mustard, brown sugar and green onions, if desired, in the skillet. Cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
Step 3
Reduce heat. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Divide the beef mixture evenly among the rolls.
taste good
Made this tonight. Was very easy, had simple ingredients, and was yummy! I will keep this on hand and make it again.
Picante Sloppy Joes
Very tasty, simple and quick my whole family enjoyed this, way better than the can.
I made this the first time I saw the recipe and it was very good. It has become one of our family favorites.
This was great. I did not have green onions so I added a regular onion and it was wonderful. It is easy to make and if you let it simmer for about fifteen minutes, it pulls all the flavors together. It tastes like you cooked it all day. I will make this again. Leftovers are wonderful as well.
