5 ingredients and 25 minutes make this a quick and easy dish to serve four.  All the flavors of Chicken Parmesan come together in one skillet- sauteed chicken, Italian sauce and Parmesan cheese.  Melted mozzarella on top adds the perfect finishing touch!

Ingredients

  • 4 small skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/4 pounds)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cup Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce or your favorite Prego® Italian Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 6 ounces)

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Season the chicken as desired.  Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat.  Add the chicken and cook for 6 minutes or until well browned on both sides.

  • Step 2

    Stir the sauce and the Parmesan cheese in the skillet.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

  • Step 3

    Sprinkle with the mozzarella and cover to melt.

    LOL! This was very easy and tasted pretty much the same as the 3 step dredging of flour, egg, bread crumbs. Also way less carbs. It was very tasty and I have added to my favorites.
