No time to cook? No worries. These Chicken Parm Sandwiches are ready in less time than it takes to order take-out!  Not only are they fast and easy, simmering the chicken right in our savory sauce makes them delicious too!


  • 1 jar (24 ounces) Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
  • 6 refrigerated fully-cooked breaded chicken cutlet or patties
  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 6 Pepperidge Farm® Plain Kaiser Rolls (You can toast them, if you like.)


  • Tips

    • Easy Substitution: You can also use frozen fully-cooked breaded chicken cutlets or patties.  Prepare according to package directions before using in this recipe.
    • Ingredient Note: You can use 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese instead of the mozzarella, if you prefer.  Just sprinkle the cheese over the chicken and sauce after assembling the sandwiches.
  • Step 1

    Heat the sauce in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat to a boil.  Place the chicken in the skillet and turn to coat. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is hot.

  • Step 2

    Top the chicken with the cheese.  Cover and cook until the cheese is melted.  Serve the chicken and sauce on the rolls.
