With a seasoned coating, rich sauce and mozzarella cheese, these pork chops will satisfy cravings for Italian food.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds thin-sliced boneless pork chop, 1/4-inch thick
  • 1/2 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 4 ounces)

  • Tips

    • Serving Suggestion: Serve the pork with additional sauce, warmed.  Great with hot cooked pasta or on crusty rolls for sandwiches.
  • Step 1

    Set the oven to 400°F.  While the oven is heating, season the pork as desired.

  • Step 2

    Place the bread crumbs onto a plate.  Beat the egg in a shallow dish with a fork or whisk.  Dip the pork in the egg.  Coat with the bread crumbs.  Place the pork onto a rimmed baking sheet.

  • Step 3

    Bake for 15 minutes.  Pour the sauce over the pork.  Sprinkle with the cheese.

  • Step 4

    Bake for 5 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
