This one-pot supper sports big flavors. Sautéed ground beef is stirred into shell pasta with a cheesy picante sauce to make a robust family dinner.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 1/2 cups Swanson® Beef Broth or Swanson® Beef Stock
  • 3 cups uncooked shell shaped pastaor 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 can (10 1/2ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 1/2 cup Pace® Picante Sauce

  • Step 1

Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it's well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.

Pasta, meat, cheese, a little spice, and super easy to make! It doesn't get much better than that! I also added shredded cheddar cheese, because you can never have too much cheese!

This was very good! Similar to Hamburger Helper but I like that it isn't so processed. I don't like chunky things so I used picante sauce instead of the salsa. I think I would agree with the reviewers that said to add taco seasoning to the beef first for a little more flavor. This made a TON and I am only one person so I think I might half it next time. The good news is that it froze well and I had a couple more meals out of it.

  • Great, easy recipe!

I loved this recipe. It was easy to make. I did make a few improvisions such as using cream of chicken soup since I did not have cream of cheddar. I also added shredded cheddar cheese stirred it in and tossed the entire mixture in a lasagne pan, put bread crumbs in melted butter and put that on top of the mixture and baked it for about 15min. It added some crunchiness to it and it was great!!!

I sprinkled cheddar on the finished product. Pretty tasty for a little amount of effort.

Very good! Although I always change things up...needs a little more meat and I also added a can of rotel.
