My wife has been sick and with little appetite, she just wanted some tomato soup. Knowing she loves Tomato Basil Soup I was looking for a quick and easy recipe for Tomato basil soup but they don't seem to exist, then I stumbled on this one and happened to have the salsa in the Fridge. It was wonderful, she even had an extra serving! This is definitely a keeper - thanks for the recipe!

Added a bit of cumin, an 8 oz. package of cooked Fajita Chicken and a cup of corn. My family loved it!

Loved it so easy, got raves from everyone who had some. I made it for a church event. Heated it up in a crock pot offered shredded cheese to top it with. Delish. My family loves it too.

When I saw this recipe I thought it was great, then I told my husband what we were having for dinner and he didn't seem to be very interested. Well, I made the soup, in the microwave no less and also made us each a grilled cheese sandwich. Then I added some shredded chedder to the bottom of the cup and some crumbled fritos corn chips. My husband loved it and so did I, he ate the rest of the soup. I made 1/2 recipe for us and it was perfect, 2 cups for him and 1 for me.

This soup is perfect for those days where you don't feel like running out to the store. So simple to make and so few ingredients! The second time I made it I added some canned chicken for some protein and it was delish! Tastes like Chicken Tortilla Soup. Added corn tortilla chips and shredded chedder cheese on top.
