This moist and flavorful meatloaf is kicked up with the addition of picante sauce. Serve it with mashed potatoes for a hearty and delicious meal that’s guaranteed to please.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Mushroom Gravy
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup Pace® Picante Sauce

Instructions

  • Tips

    • Serving Suggestion: Serve the meatloaf and gravy mixture with hot mashed potatoes.
  • Step 1

    Thoroughly mix 1/4 cup gravy, the beef, bread crumbs, egg and 1/4 cup picante sauce in a large bowl. Shape the beef mixture firmly into an 8x4-inch loaf in a baking pan.

  • Step 2

    Bake at 350°F. for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.

  • Step 3

    Heat 2 tablespoons drippings, the remaining gravy and the remaining picante sauce in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until hot and bubbling. Serve the gravy mixture with the meatloaf.

    My family loves this meatloaf. It makes up moist even when using extra lean hamburger.

    Next time I will addonions to the meatloaf that was the only thing missing. My kids both loved the gravey and used it on the meat and mashed potatoes so I will double it.

    I loved this!! Tha best meatloaf ever! I used savory herb stuffing mix for my bread crumbs. My family loved it!!

    I added the usual, onions and green pepper, in addition to the recipe. It was as close to perfect as you can get.

    Very good for meatloaf. I loves the mushrooms, in fact I added mushrooms to the gravy. (I love mushrooms).
