Ingredients

  • 8 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni pasta (or any other pasta)
  • 1 jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce or Cheesy Bacon Cheddar Cheese Sauce

  • Tips

    • Customize your mac & cheese with these stir-ins: cooked crumbled bacon, cooked ground beef, grilled cubed chicken, buffalo chicken, steamed broccoli, prepared chili, pulled pork or cooked hot dogs.
    • For a baked version: Combine cooked pasta, sauce, 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, and 1/4 cup milk. Spoon the mixture into an 8x8x2-inch baking dish. Stir 1/2 cup plain panko and 2 tablespoons olive oil in a bowl. Sprinkle over the pasta mixture. Bake for 10 minutes on 375°F.or until hot and the panko mixture is golden brown.
  • Step 1

    Cook the pasta according to the package directions in a 4-quart saucepan.  Drain the pasta and return to the saucepan.

  • Step 2

    Stir in the cheese sauce and heat over medium heat, stirring often, until the mixture is hot.
