Popular throughout Mexico and Latin America, a Michelada is traditionally made with beer, tomato juice and other spices and is served chilled with a salted rim. Our Michelada recipe features a fabulous combination of ingredients including savory V8® vegetable juice, chili pepper, lime juice and Mexican beer. It’s our take on this refreshing and flavorful cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (5.5 ounces each) V8® 100% Vegetable Juice (about 1 1/3 cups), chilled
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground chili powder
  • 1 bottle (12 fluid ounces) Mexican beer, chilled

  • Tips

    • Serving Suggestion: Coat the rims of the glasses with a mixture of coarse salt with a pinch of chili powder.  Garnish with lime wedges.
  • Step 1

    Stir the vegetable juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder in a large pitcher.  Stir in the beer just before serving.
