Imagine walking into a party and seeing a big pitcher of this deep red Autumn Sangria ready to serve!  Not only is it beautiful to look at, it also tastes delicious.  The traditional red wine pairs with fall-inspired cider and cinnamon sticks, with a hit of bourbon and fresh apple and orange slices.  Sparkling orange pineapple V8 adds a lift with more fruit flavors and a little fizz.  Best of all, it only takes 5 minutes to make!  You can make and serve this Autumn Sangria right away or make it a little ahead of time and chill to blend the flavors.  Serve it in a pitcher or in a punch bowl- your guests will love it!

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) medium-bodied red wine (like pinot noir)
  • 2 cans (11.5 ounces each) V8 +ENERGY® Sparkling Orange Pineapple
  • 2 cups apple cider (16 fluid ounces)
  • 1/2 cup bourbon (4 fluid ounces)
  • 1 apple, cored and sliced
  • 1 orange, cut in half and sliced
  • 3 cinnamon stick

  • Tips

    • Serve immediately or refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend.
  • Step 1

    Stir the wine, V8, cider, bourbon, apple, orange and cinnamon sticks in a large pitcher.

  • Step 2

    Serve the sangria in ice-filled glasses.  Garnish with additional apple and orange slices and cinnamon sticks, if desired.
