How do you make a classic lemonade cocktail even better? Add V8 +HYDRATE® Blueberry Acai. This recipe gets an exotic flavor twist from acai, the purplish superfruit made popular in smoothie bowls. Shake up summer flavors anytime with a batch of our Spiked Lemonade.

  • 20 blueberries (about 1/3 cup)
  • 1 can (8 ounces) V8 +HYDRATE® Blueberry Acai
  • 3 fluid ounces lemon juice (about 6 tablespoons) (from about 2 lemons)
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 3 fluid ounces vodka (about 6 tablespoons)


  • Step 1

    Place the blueberries into a cocktail shaker.  Using a muddler or the back end of a wooden spoon, muddle the blueberries (lightly crush the berries against the side of the shaker to release their flavor).

  • Step 2

    Fill the shaker with ice.  Add the V8, lemon juice, simple syrup and vodka.  Cover and shake until combined.  Divide the mixture among 4 glasses.  Garnish with twists of lemon peel, if desired.
