  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Brown Gravy with Onions
  • 12 ounces sliced roasted or lean deli style roast beef
  • 4 long hard roll, split or 8 slices Pepperidge Farm® Farmhouse™ 7 Grain Bread

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Heat the gravy in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat to a boil.  Add the beef (separating the slices so they get coated with the gravy).  Reduce the heat to low.  Cook until the mixture is hot.

  • Step 2

    Divide the beef and gravy among the rolls.

    Followed the recipe exactly, except halved it, made two servings. First, I used it as the sandwich and it was very good. Then, I used the other half of the beef over wide noodles as a supper meal. Excellent. Will make again and freeze servings-perfect for a winter hot sandwich.

    This recipe makes an awesome sandwich that compares to any French Dip you would get in a restaurant. We like to swap the Provolone for Swiss. We also like to butter the hoagie bread and toast it in the oven, doesn't add much time to the preparation, yet adds to the taste. No matter how you try it, you should try it!!
