These Cheesy Air Fryer Cauliflower Bites have all the makings of a hit appetizer: a crispy crust, and an unexpectedly rich, umami flavor throughout, thanks to using Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup as a hack for binding the breading. Best of all, they are ready to serve in just 20 minutes. Try presenting them with a side of marinara sauce, chipotle-infused mayo, creamy avocado dip, or all three! And, if you do not have an air fryer, you can also bake them in the oven - check out the tips below to learn how.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets (about 4 1/2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup finely shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs

Instructions

  • Tips

    • To make in your oven: Heat the oven to 400°F. While the oven is heating, line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Coat the cauliflower with the soup mixture and place the coated cauliflower on the baking sheet. Stir the cheeses and breadcrumbs in a medium bowl. Sprinkle the mixture over the cauliflower. Bake for 25 minutes, checking halfway through and turning the cauliflower florets over if needed. Remove when the cauliflower is lightly browned and tender.
    • For the best air fryer results, preheat your fryer according to the manufacturer's directions (usually 3 to 5 minutes).  For optimal crispiness, spray your food with cooking spray before air frying.
    • For a nuttier flavor, swap Swiss cheese for Gruyère.
  • Step 1

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Stir the soup, onion powder and dry mustard in a large bowl. Add the cauliflower and toss to coat.

  • Step 2

Stir the cheese and breadcrumbs in a medium bowl. Spread the cauliflower on a sheet pan or plate to allow you to evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on the cauliflower.

  • Step 3

Spray the basket with cooking spray, then place the cauliflower into the air fryer basket (if your air fryer is small, cook the cauliflower in 2 batches). Air fry for 10 minutes or until the cauliflower is lightly browned and tender.
