My recipe is the same as this recipe, but a lot of times I add hamburger to the mix. I then put this mixture in a bake bean crock and then add some cooked bacon which I drained of fat on some paper. Then I put on the lid and cook for about half an hour. I then take the lid off and cook for about another fifteen minutes. I serve these with tuna salid or potato salid or potatoes Augratin. And sometimes I just have the beans by themselves. I also mix pork and beans, Bushes beans, and Luck's pork and beans together. Anyway you slice it baked beans are the best.

I've made a variation of this recipe for over 50 years. I received the recipe from a friend. The only difference between this version and the one I make is that I add a can of Campbell's tomato soup (undiluted). My family still loves it. I've made these beans to take to family reunions and pot luck suppers. And sometimes I add thin sliced kielbasa sausage for a one pot meal. Just add a tossed salad and some hot biscuits. Yummy.

I made these easy baked beans yesterday and was very pleased that they taste just as good as if they had been baked in a regular oven. It was nice to not have to heat up the kitchen, yet get the same results. They were delicious !! I will be making these many times.
