This updated skillet version of our comforting and reliable classic Tuna Noodle recipe features tuna, shell pasta and cream of mushroom soup.  This family-pleasing favorite is topped with cheese and crushed seasoned croutons for great texture and can be on the table in less than 30 minutes.  If you are looking to feed a crowd, try this turkey version: Turkey Noodle Casserole.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup uncooked medium shell shaped pasta or rotini
  • 2 cans (about 5 ounces each) solid white albacore tuna, drained
  • 2/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup seasoned croutons, crushed

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Heat the butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat.  Add the celery and cook for 5 minutes or until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 2

    Stir in the soup, water and uncooked pasta and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 3

    Stir in the tuna and half the cheese and cook until the mixture is hot.  Sprinkle with the croutons and the remaining cheese and serve.

    I just made this recipe, it was really good! Only few small changes, used ritz crackers-didnt have croutons. Also I added onion with the celery. I Used small egg noodles. Great clean up 1 pan. Loved that this This was fast & delicious!
