VERY tasty
We absolutely loved it. We used leftover chicken, and substituted Cream of Chicken soup.We also used frozen mixed veggies.Great on a cool day.
It was a starting point.
I used this as a building block. I used cream of mushroom soup instead of the brocoli soup. I added a bag of frozen mixed veggies that was peas carrots etc. And one can of corn. I chopped my chicken raw then browned it and mixed everything in but the topping. It came out great. I was able to throw the whole thing in the oven in under 20 minutes.
Great casserole recipe!
I added precooked, diced bacon. That made it perfect! Will make this again!
Love this for a quick & easy week nite meal!
I have made this many times! Most recently when the girls from work came for our annual sleep over. Have used cream of chicken or celery soup. Diced a little onion into the mix for flavor along with some Mrs. Dash Table blend seasoning. I get cooked chicken tenders from deli at grocery store. About 3) They add flavor too. My favorite stuffing is Stovetop! The girls loved it and there were 0 leftovers! All got the recipe.
Will make again
I made this recipe with turkey and mixed everything together, it turned out very good. I did not care for the topping i may not have let it get brown enough but everyone else liked it. Just remember when making this to be sure to add spices to your liking. All in all will make again.
