Step 1
Heat the soup and water in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is hot and bubbling, stirring occasionally.

Spread the butter on the bread slices.
Step 3
Place 4 bread slices, butter-side down, into a 12-inch skillet. Top with the cheese slices and remaining bread slices, butter-side up. Cook over medium heat until the sandwiches are lightly browned on both sides and the cheese is melted.

One of my favorites, though I make some adjustments. I use 3/4 of a can of milk, add a dash of garlic powder, hot sauce, black pepper and a knob of sweet cream butter. Use a whisk to stir. Add Chez-it's as a topping to the soup. Cheese lover's will really enjoy this.

My two year old loves this as much as I allways have!! She is really getting into the dipping thing, these days. But for some reason she won't dip the sandwich in it. She dips crackers, tho. She'll get it sooner or later.
