  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed French Onion Soup
  • 3 cups water
  • 8 ounces uncooked campanelle (little bell shaped) pasta (about 3 cups)
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded white Cheddar cheese (about 5 ounces) (amount divided in recipe steps below)
  • 3 cups 1/2-inch cubes French baguette (4 to 5 ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Combine the French onion soup and water in a 12-inch ovenproof skillet and heat to a boil.

  • Step 2

    Stir in the uncooked pasta. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender and the liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Add the cheddar cheese soup and 1 cup cheese and cook and stir until the mixture is hot and the cheese is melted. Season to taste with black pepper.

  • Step 3

    Heat the broiler. Place the bread cubes into a bowl.  Add the melted butter and toss to coat. Arrange the bread cubes on the pasta mixture and top with the remaining 1/2 cup cheese.

  • Step 4

    Broil 6 inches from the heat for 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread cubes are golden brown.
